Why we don't repair carbon dropouts

We do not recommend repairing dropouts for several reasons:
The compression moulding process used in bike manufacturing involves dropouts being pressed, forged, and bonded into the frame. Over time and usage, the bike's components, such as skewers and cassettes, can introduce grease contamination, which interfere with the bonding of new materials. Additionally, the dropout area endures significant load, and precise alignment is critical for optimal performance. Repairing dropouts can compromise the integrity and safety of the bike. Therefore, we advise against attempting to repair dropouts.
